Carbon dioxide (CO2) optimization for indoor plants
 

Carbon dioxide (atmospheric levels)

When all other environmental conditions are optimised, it can be beneficial (but probably not cost effective) to add extra carbon dioxide. Up to 1% is effective (normal  atmospheric concentration is 0.035%). Benefits are reported with roses, carnations, cucumbers and orchids.
