“We have not needed to re-calibrate our pH
meters for over 3 years!”
Analytical Laboratory
Traditional electrode cleaners (made from acids, alkalis, chelates)
are now useless given that most nutrient reservoirs contain organic
additives. Flairform's ‘Electrode Cleaner’ removes both
‘organic’ and ‘inorganic’ contamination. While this might seem like a
minor consideration, a contaminated electrode is likely to give grossly
inaccurate readings – even when calibrated! This is a critical issue
given that one of the most common causes of nutrient failure is lack of
pH control.

Maximize electrode
life-span. |

The electrode can usually
be used immediately after cleaning:
Many formulations 'poison' pH electrodes rendering them dysfunctional
for several hours. |
 |
Easy to use:
Soak electrode for 5
minutes. |

Available in 250ml. |
Electrode care: Avoid placing electrodes in oily
solutions as they can “coat” the electrode. Further, avoid measuring
(or leaving electrodes for too long) in
harsh chemicals. For
example, highly caustic (e.g. pH Up, silica additives) or concentrated
solutions (e.g. raw nutrient). |
